Why does TurboTax Help say "Do not include Roth IRA contributions" in the Additional contributions box under the Retirement Savings Credit/Add'l Contributions section?

I made a contribution to my Roth IRA and per the IRS website, this contribution is an eligible contribution.

Why does TurboTax Help say "Do not include Roth IRA contributions" in the Additional contributions box under the Retirement Savings Credit/Add'l Contributions section?

Roth IRA contributions are entered elsewhere in TurboTax.   If you enter them in the Saver's credit again, the calculation will be doubled-up.    Enter your IRA contributions in the Retirement & Investments in the Deductions and Credits section.    You will see the contributions on Form 8880 (Saver's Credit).

Roth IRA contributions aren't deductible but may help you qualify for the Savers Credit(Retirement Contributions Credit).
