Why does my 2025 Turbo tax program not answer the question on the 1040-sr form about "your main home being in the us for more than half of 2025".

If you are filing as Head of Household you need to have a dependent who lived with you over half the year, and your home was in the US for over half the year.  Check your Filing Status and your Dependent Info in the Personal Info section.  Here's more info on Filing as Head of Household.

It’s ok for that box not to be checked.  It’s only needed if you get the EIC credit.   It won’t prevent filing.  I filed with it not checked and got my refund.
