Delete the Form 1099-R and re-enter manually.

 

Enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

Delete the Form 1099-R and re-enter manually.

 

Enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

Also be sure you are entering the correct two letter State abbreviation.  For example, Nebraska should be NE, not NB (which is New Brunswick, Canada).

You will only have to amend if the IRS rejects your return. If the IRS accepts your return, you will add your 1098 and re-file. However, you should also wait until you receive your refund (if any) to amend. If you owe, you can amend e-filed returns if they've been accepted and paper-filed returns after they've been mailed.
