Why are my federal return lines - Example Line 6, Gross income, line 7 adjusted gross income all blank? It is all social security income.

I used a different company to do my taxes last year and with just social security income these lines were filed in and I e-filed

Why are my federal return lines - Example Line 6, Gross income, line 7 adjusted gross income all blank? It is all social security income.

If social security is the only income you receive, then you have no taxable income and cannot e-file.
