Where do I enter my British Social Security Pension? Because I do not have a 1099 form, turbotax will not accept my information as it has in previous years.
Previous years I have entered it under Miscellaneous Income. I did not need any type of 1099 Form. I just typed in British Pensions and the amount without any problem.

If you are having difficulties entering the information as a 1099-R substitute form, you can enter it as miscellaneous income.
To do this in TurboTax:
- Click on Federal Taxes at the top of your screen
- Click on Wages & Income at the top of your screen
- Scroll down to Less Common Income
- Scroll down to Miscellaneous Income and Click Start
- Scroll down to Other reportable income and Click Start
- Click Yes and enter the description and amount.
