Where do I deduct the 15% of my social security that is not taxable?

YOU don't do any adjusting, the software will automatically compute the taxable portion of Social Security.  Just enter your 1099SSA as its shown and all your other income as usual, the program will do the work.

The software will handle the calculations of the taxable and non-taxable portion of your SSA benefits. Just be certain to match the benefit to the recipient (say if filing married joint) to get the correct calculations in all aspects of SSA calculations.
