When turbo tax asked me to confirm the payer address on a 1099-R during complete check, I mistakenly entered in the state. How do I go back and edit?

You would have to enter 1099-R in Search near  the top of the screen, hit enter, then the Jump To.  Go until you see the small summary showing all your 099-Rs and edit the one you want.
