when entering my spouses 1099r it is asking who she inherited it from ?

Review the 1099-R and your entries. for the 1099-R. Is the distribution code in box 7 a "4"? Distribution code 4 indicates that the distribution was made after the original account holder's death.

I am in the "my info" screen and my spouse's first name is not showing. There is not even a box to enter it, only a middle initial and last name. Is this normal?
