When entering a 1099-R for box 15 Texas (TX) is not available in the list of states presented on the screen

Texas is not in the list because Texas has no state income tax. In TurboTax leave boxes 14 through 19 empty. Do not enter anything. You do not have to put TX in box 15, even if it's on the 1099-R that you received.

Hello and thank you for your response. I will do as you suggest.

I was confused why Texas is not in the list, because Florida and New Hampshire do not have state income taxes either, but they are in the list.

I entered a 1099-C for canceled debt. The options under the income section do not give me an option to select unsecured debt. how do i change that ?
