What is 1099R from a financial institution?

A 1099R is a document that shows money you took out of a retirement account.  If you received a 1099R you need to enter it on your tax return.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
