What if I don't want the retirement tax credit?

To cause the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit (and Form 8880 and possibly 2018 Schedule 3) to be removed you must "lie" and in the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit section indicate that you were a full-time student.

The IRS will not see this - this is just a way to do a workaround in TurboTax.
