TurboTax EasyStep asked for Trad. IRA combined values on 12/31/18, which is visible on the IRA Worksheet but does NOT appear on Form 8606 Line 6. TURBOTAX ERROR???

I am having same problem, did you get any other answers from TT? This answer was not good for me. thanks

Why was this answer not good?  It explains the reason why Form 8606 Part I, when required, would have a blank line 6 after the year-end value in traditional IRAs has been entered.

If line 13 or line 15c of your Form 8606 has an asterisk, TurboTax is using the Taxable IRA Distribution Worksheet to do the calculation and is intentionally leaving lines 6 though 12 of Form 8606 blank.  In this case, the year-end value will appear on the worksheet.
