In income topic, for retirement items it you select both the SSA-1099 AND the RRB-1099, then none of the fields allow supporting details, nor do they support tagging as estimate. Not sure if this fails if only one or the other type 1099 is selected and not both.

Please Clarify:
The SSA-1099 and the RRB-1099 are unique individual forms.
Did you select both the SSA and RRB when you started to post your return?
Do you mean the numbers on your document are posted as supporting detail?
I'm not sure what you mean by tagging information as estimated?
OMG, come on, when the interview page comes up, you can check select SSA-1099 and at the same time you can check select RRB-1099. They may be different forms, but TTAX takes them up on the same displayed page within the product. The first select (RRB or SSA) made populates the page with some set of 3 or 4 fields related to that form, I say set because it has both taxpayer and spouse columns. THEN checking the second checkbox (RRB or SSA) on the same page, some additional set of 3 or 4 fields related to THAT form, AGAIN a 'set' due to having taxpayer and spouse fields.
The issue is that none of these fields can be marked estimated. I have since found that a double click will bring up the 'add supporting detail' display, at least at times, or perhaps on some, of the fields.
I still don't understand.
I do see that you can bring up entry fields for an SSA and RRB together. I also recognize that you can make entries for both you and your spouse.
My question is, if you have a copy of the SSA or RRB, why would you have to post any reference to "estimated" or "explanation detail".
Please be patient. I'm trying to understand.
well,,, if Intuit will quit sending me notices to buy the product in October of the prior year I will cease using it before I have the proper forms as a tool for estimation purposes. As of today, I do have the proper forms and do not need the ability to mark estimated. I was just trying to report a bug to INTUIT, but that is not going very well at this point. I'd thank you for the help, but...
@JKC0814 If I understand your question, you are working in TurboTax 2020 Deluxe Download\CD and want to enter estimates for your Social Security and Railroad Retirement.
Right clicking on your mouse will bring up a menu that includes "Mark as Estimated." You can also enter a number and hit the F8 key to change an entry to estimated.
your understanding is correct, and, I did not know, or I'd forgotten, about the F8 option to mark a field estimated. But, alas, that too failed. And there is no menu that pops up when I right click. I understand that there should be, that works elsewhere on other forms/panels/etc.. This is broken, can you get someone in support to look at this, thanks.
