Turbo Tax is wanting to know if I inherited my husband's IRA as "agent"? I was beneficiary in TX - a community property state. What is meant by "agent"?

His IRA was rolled over into my IRA.  The RMD was distributed. I have a 1099R from Fidelity giving me the RMD amount and the amount of Federal tax withheld and giving the distribution code as "4".  I don't know what is meant by "agent."

An agent is assigned to act on behalf of a person through a written Power of Attorney (POA). A POA  is also known as a grantor, grantor, principal, or donor of the power. Another name that is commonly used is attorney-in-fact.

Do you mean "Did you inherit the IRA *form* xxxx"  - where xxxx is the payers name on the first line of the 1099-R?
It is simply to identify the payer.
