Turbo tax is asking me enter the name for a Canadian registered retirement savings plan or registered retirement income fund. How can I delete this?

Turbo tax is asking me enter the name for a Canadian registered retirement savings plan or registered retirement income fund. How can I delete this?

Distributions from a retirement plan would be listed on a Form 1099-R. You can see if there is such a form that is associated with the Canadian retirement plan in your program and delete it as follows:

 

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links 

4. Find the errant Form 1099-R in the list and delete it

there is no tax tool option on only tool button

Are you using TurboTax Online? If so, navigate to the left of your screen for Tax Tools.
