Where? On the actual 2040 line 4b? If you are looking at a summary screen or review screen those show the full amount as income and lump a lot of stuff together. You need to check the actual 1040 form and make sure it's right.
Box 2a of a Form 1099-R reporting a regular distribution from a traditional IRA (code 1, 2 or 7 in box 7) is informational only. The entire distribution is taxable unless you have basis in nondeductible traditional IRA contributions. If you've made nondeductible traditional IRA contributions, these are required to have been reported on Forms 8606 and the taxable amount of your 2020 distribution must be calculated on your 2020 Form 8606. TurboTax automatically prepares Form 8606. Be sure to click the Continue button on the Your 1099-R Entries page and answer the questions regarding your nondeductible traditional IRA contributions.
