For the question HOW MUCH INCOME DID "DEPENDENT'S NAME" RECEIVE?, do I enter the total amount of his SSA Benefits

I am claiming my father as a dependent and I do not know if his SSA & Pension total of $22,000 count as income

For the question HOW MUCH INCOME DID "DEPENDENT'S NAME" RECEIVE?, do I enter the total amount of his SSA Benefits

To be allowed to claim your parent as a dependent, your parent’s taxable income cannot be more than $4,200 for your 2019 tax year. This means that if your parent earns more than $4,200, you aren’t eligible to claim them as a dependent. Non-taxable income, such as Social Security, does not count toward this amount.  His pension income would count toward this amount.

You also need to provide more than 1/2 of their support.

You can deduct your parent's medical expenses even if he does not meet the income requirement to be claimed as your dependent as long as you provide more that half of their support.
