This is armed forces retirement benefits but it also qualifies for the Bailey settlement retirement benefits but only one of the two can be checked. Which do I put?

This is a NC benefit and they do not count this retirement as taxes

I am in NC - it doesn't matter.  check either one; the result is the same.

Military - must have 20 years of service (or disability discharge if less than 20 years)

Bailey - your federal pension was vested as of 8/14/1989 meaning you were hired into the military no later than 8/14/1984.
