There is info missing on my 1099-b that TurboTax is requesting, what do I do?

What is the information that's missing?

If your 1099-B does not show the acquisition date and basis for some sales, you have to provide that information from your own records of the original purchase or other means of acquisition. The brokerage or financial institution might be able to help you, even though they did not put the information on the 1099-B.

What is missing? Is there a missing cost basis? If so, you will need to either enter zero for the cost basis or track down the cost of the asset from when you originally purchased it.
