The sum total of my 1099 dividends detail is correct but the summary page shows an inflated number. How can I fix the summary to agree to the detail?

If you mean the Income Summary, that just shows gross amounts you entered, not the amounts as they'll show on your tax return. The summary is not expected to match the detail.  You can check what's actually on your return by clicking on Tax Tools on the left, then Tools.

Then click on View Your Tax Summary, then Preview my 1040.
