1099R due to a death tProgram is asking for when this person was born. Is it wanting to know when the person that died was born or the person that received the benefit?

1099R due to a death tProgram is asking for when this person was born. Is it wanting to know when the person that died was born or the person that received the benefit?

The deceased.   It is to determine if a RMD is required.  If it was a total distribution, then the RMD was automatically met.
