We are residents of California (9 months) and seasonal residents of Nevada (3 months). We maintain homes in both States. I am retired collecting a pension from Calpers. My wife works in California. California continues to be our primary residence. We have not made the moved to Nevada.

Yes, as long as California is your resident state, you will be taxed for the entire years pension. When you divide your time between two states, you aren't considered a Part Year Resident. That's only for when you move out of one state permanently and change your residence to the new state.
