What does the Form 1099-R that you received from the IRA plan administrator show for box 7?

It shows “J” in block 7. In speaking with plan administrator they advised that it is an early withdrawal and consult with tax professional on best way to advise IRS that it was contributions, no and earnings.

The code should already be printed on the 1099R form by the payer.  If you don't have the form yet, then you should wait until you receive it or ask the payer for the code that will be used.  It's important to enter the information exactly as it appears to eliminate any issues down the road.

@derek.j.martinez  As you continue your entry it will ask you questions about your Roth IRA.  Use the "J" code on the form and follow through answering the questions.  The amount that is contributions will not be taxed on your return.

J is the correct code because you were under age 59½ at the time of the distribution.  After entering the Form 1099-R and answering the immediate follow-up questions, be sure to click the Continue button on the Your 1099-R Entries page to reach the section where TurboTax will ask you to enter your Roth IRA contributions made for prior years.
