Should I be seeing a screen for Roth excess contribution, when I haven't entered or contributed to Roth?

To clarify, did you make any contribution to a retirement plan either on your own or through payroll?

I did through payroll. The $ amount referenced on the excess contribution message is the same as my company's contribution to my retirement plan.

How did TurboTax know what your company contributed to your Retirement Plan? This is not normally reported on a W-2, but does it appear on yours?

If so, and you imported/uploaded your W-2, you could delete it and type it in yourself.
