The RMD questions come up after you enter your 1099-R form.

Open your return

Go to Federal
Go to Wages and Income
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security.
Select IRA, 401k, Pension Plan withdrawal (1099-R).
Select Edit next to the 1099-R form
Continue to the Screen Required Minimum Distributions.
