Where is the SSA 1099 form?

You should receive the SSA-1099 form in the mail if either your or your spouse is receiving Social Security payments.

Please see the Social Security Administration website for information on the form and how to get a replacement.

I mean-I am not able to enter my SSA 1099 on TurboTax

1. Sign in and open your account
2. Click FEDERAL on the left side bar
3. Click WAGES & INCOME along the top
4. Scroll down to ALL INCOME (click "show all” if needed)
5. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
6. Click Show more
7. Scroll down to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) and click START

I PUT RETIRED IN OCCUPATION AND ALL THAT POPS UP

IS THE W-2 FORM OPTION. BOTH MY WIFE AND I RECEIVED

FORM SSA-1099 IN THE MAIL. ICAN'T GET TURBO PREMIRE

TO SHOW ENTER PAGE FOR SSA-1099 ENTRY.

Whether or not Social Security benefits are taxable depends upon your total income.  See this TurboTax Help.

In TurboTax Online, follow these directions to enter Social Security benefits:

• Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
• Across the top of the screen, click on Wages & income.
• Under Your income, scroll down to Retirement plans and social security.
• Click on Show more to the right.
• Click on Start/Revisit to the right of Social Security (SSA-1099).
• At the screen Did you receive Social Security benefits, click Yes.
• At the screen Tell us about the benefits, click Continue.
• Enter the benefits from the SSA-1099.
