The Form 1040 is the Federal Tax Return.  

Have you entered any income on the tax return? If so, what types of income have you entered?

The 1040 is the tax return form you are filing out.  It says you haven't entered any taxable income.  What kind of income do you have?   If you only get Social Security you do not have to file a return.  Did you enter any 1099R for retirement income?  Any interest or dividends?
