Is the Covid disaster distribution form not available? I'm selecting that I need to report 1/3 of the distribution and am being told I will have to return to the topic.

I know that the IRS instructions were delayed on this topic the last two years.  I can't seem to find any information on when Turbotax will have the ability to process this for 2022 taxes.

Form 8915-F (Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Retirements) will be available on February 23rd.

While you are pending the release of Form 8915-F you can review your tax return to make sure there are no other filing errors so that once Form is released by the IRS you will be ready to efile.

The following steps should be used to enter your COVID-qualifying distribution  -

1. Click on Federal
2. Click on Wages & Income
3. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
4. On IRA, 401(k), or Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click on the Start or Revisit button
5. On the screen Did you get a 1099-R in 2021? Click on NO, if you did not receive a 2021 Form 1099-R in 2022
