I cannot enter my Retirement Income 1099-R. Why not?

when will turbotax update Retirement Income section?

If you are referring to Covid-19 relief for distributions from retirement plans, this requires Form 8915-E and we have not received final instructions from the IRS yet. My guess is latter part of February.

If you are entering a 1099R that is just normal and not related to Covid-19 relief:

 After you have logged in and are in your return:

• Go to Search at the top of the screen.
• then enter Form 1099-R in the search box. 
• You will see a Jump To function that will take you to the 1099-R input screens. 
• There add the 1099-R.

If you are having problems with the import of your 1099R, I would recommend typing it in yourself.  You can do this by selecting "Change how I enter my form" from the institutions screen then select "Type it myself"

I've tried over and over to download my State Tax program, and it 'hangs'.  Hangs "waiting for Installer".  Have waited 20 mins and nothing happens.

What's a guy to do?

Am unable for TT to download my state tax Q&A.   Have tried manually to download and that also hangs Installer Update execution.

TT for me at this point to totally useless and a waste of money.

Request how to solve?
