I received a a pension lump sum payment and rolled all of it into an IRA -I am under 59 1/2. is this reportable income if I put in an IRA?

It's reportable, but it's not taxable if it was rolled over to a traditional IRA.  Enter the Form 1099-R and answer the questions that follow to indicate what you did (or did not do) with the money.
