I receive ssdi. Is this taxable income? I am a single person and have never been taxed before for receiving ssdi. What has changed? I did not get a back pay.

I didnt receive any notification that ssdi is now taxable. Is this true?

That would be taxable only if you had other income as well.

I received a 1098T form, when I filed my IL state taxes, they are taxing me for that income. Their website shows it is not taxable income, Help on fixing this.
