I am currently receiving GENERAL ASSISTANCE. I am wondering is G.A also considered as Social Security Benefits? I tried google but Social Security only bring up SSI info.

That’s the thing I’m not sure about. I’m not sure if General Assistance falls under Social Security or not.

If you are receive state aid that would not be from Social Security.

If you receive SSI, Supplemental Security Income is a Federal income supplement program funded by general tax revenues (not Social Security taxes)
