How do I finish with the two boxes under the distribution box when neither one fits for what I have?

It says "I have more than on value in Box 7" which I don't have and "IRA?SIMPLE?SEP box is checked" which isn't checked. So what do I do to continue on with this?

Ignore and proceed, if Boxes 7 and on do not apply to you. When it asks if the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE BOX is checked, enter what is on  your form. If it is not checked, enter the answer and proceed or leave it blank. It may ask you again if the box is checked if not answer no.

IF this was a 1099-R that carried into 2022 from your 2021 tax file?

You may have to "X" and then "un-X" each box......this is a problem with carried-over 1099-R files.

Better yet, go to the bottom of the screen and select <BacK> to back up one page, then Continue back into the main form again...that may clear a bunch of boxes and allow you to just enter what is needed:

(Yeah, the Online software is screwing this up)
