Which Form 1099 are you referring to, there are almost two dozen different types?  Form 1099-R, 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-S, SSA-1099, etc.

Did you file a 2019 return originally?   Then you need to amend it to add a 1099.
