Edward Jones 1099-R - I should not be taxed on my distribution, but it shows I am. How can I go about this?

You'll need to provide some details from the 1099-R for any of us to be of help, but first of all, do go back and check that you entered every item and checkbox from the 1099-R into the TurboTax dialogue.  Important details to look for on the 1099-R: 

Are there any boxes checked in the 2b area?

What is the distribution code on box 7? And is the IRA/SEP-SIMPLE box checked?

Beyond that, was the Edward Jones account a 401(k) or a traditional IRA or a Roth IRA or a pension?

What was your age at the time of the distribution?
