Question about 1099-R document transferred in from my investment firm. The gross distribution shows on my turbo tax but not the Federal income tax withheld.

If there were federal income taxes withheld and reported in box 4 of the Form 1099-R the TurboTax program automatically enters those taxes withheld as a tax payment on Form 1040 Line 25b.
