Qualified income for IRA contributions is calculated incorrectly. On Form W-2, Box 11 (Nonqualified plans) should be subtracted from Box 1 (Wages..) to calculate income.

TurboTax does not subtract Nonqualified plans (Box 11) from Wages, etc (Box 1) on Form W-2 in order to calculate if you have qualified income to support your IRA contribution.

Edit your W-2 entry and on the Tell Us More About Box 11 Income, answer Yes, it was from a nongovernmental 457(b) plan or a nonqualified pension plan.
