I live in Mississippi I receive only federal pension and social security income this tax year - do I need to file an income tax form?

Perhaps.  While you may not be required to file (you have no tax liability), you may have had federal and/or state tax withholding that you may be eligible to receive a refund for.

TurboTax can help you determine if you need to file a tax return(s).
