Ok so I had 1733 on form 1040 line 1 Line 8 is 9867 Line 9 is 11600 Line 11 is 11600 Line 12 is 12400 Line 14 is 12400 Line 15 (taxable income is 0?), it’s 800 not 0?

Line 15 you subtract line 14 from line 11 and it’s 800 so why is it 0 on my filed return?

Read the line instructions again ... the difference between them may be $800 but you cannot have NEGATIVE income.

Line 15 Taxable income. Subtract line 14 from line 11. If zero or less, enter -0- .

line 11 ... 11600 -  (line 14)  12400  = negative 800 which is less than zero so a zero is entered.

It's a MINUS 800  which is less than 0.
