I have cash contributions that are over $500. However, TurboTax just lists the total amount and not the individual recipients. I have records. Doesn't the IRS want this?

Not for cash contributions. You can put one lump sum. Keep your own list for your records.

If they were non-cash contributions, then you would need to itemize the donations.
