? If I deferred my first (2016 year) MRD in my 401K until 4/1/17. Do I need to show on my 2016 return this RMD $$$ I did not take in the 401K?
I know that I had the option/opportunity (for the first year only) to defer my year 2016 401K RMD until 4/1/17. I also understand, since I chose to do that, I will be required to take two RMD's in year 2017.

No you don't need to enter anything about that on your 2016 return.
Yes you will have to take 2 RMD in 2017 now.
