My wife is the recipient for a MESP (529/530) program. The beneficiary is our son ( a dependent ). Can I use the distribution as Mich Tax credit for my taxes?
The amount would be entered under Michigan income " Education Savings Program Withdrawals"

No, the Michigan tax credit only applies to CONTRIBUTIONS you make TO the MESP 529 plan.
