My W2 has an X on box 13 under Retirement Plan but no dollar amount. I contributed more than $2000 to the Teacher Retirement System of GA last year that was taken directly from my paycheck. Should I include this somewhere?

No. That would be reported by your employer on your W-2 in box 12. You don't report it anywhere else. Box 13 only says that you have a retirement plan at work - nothing else.
