What are you trying to enter?  Sounds like you have a 1099 instead of a W2.

That does not sound like a W-2.   Do you actually have some kind of 1099?   What kind?

You have a Form 1099-R.  Delete the W-2 you started to enter.

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

That must be a 1099R for a pension or IRA withdrawal etc.

Enter a 1099R under

Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
