My traditional ira distribution is a rollover to a roth ira. I think it should be on line 8 of form 8606 not line 7. How do i get it there?

Edit the Form 1099-R and in the questions that follow indicate that you moved the money to another retirement account and that you converted the money to Roth.  Doing so will move the amount from line 7 to line 8 and will cause Form 8606 Part II to be completed.

What is the code in box 7 of the Form 1099-R?
