My son received SSA benefits until he graduated from high school in May 2025. Does he count the benefits on his taxes or do I?

He turned 18 in November 2024 and worked part-time until he graduated.

The Social Security benefits are reported on his tax return because the Social Security number in box 2 of the SSA-1099 is his SS number.
