My return shows contributions to an IRA. I only contributed to a retirement fund. How can I change this information?

Please explain where you are in the software. An IRA is a retirement fund. Do you mean you contributed to a 401K through your employer? If so you only enter that by entering the information from the boxes of your W-2; you do not enter it anywhere else.
