If the Social Security benefits are the Only income to be reported on the tax return, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return.

You are a tenant in the home in which you live? Or do you own a property that you rent to someone else?

No, I own nothing. I pay monthly rent.
My children give me gifts but do not pay my bills.
Do I have to pay for the incentive checks we all got?
Thank you for helping me. This is the first time I have filed

No, there is nothing you need to file with regard to the incentive checks you got.
If Social Security benefits is your only income to report, then you would not be required to file a tax return. Social Security benefits only become partially taxable when you have also received other types of taxable income.
