My income is on two forms--SSA-1099 and RRB-1099. Can't I use these two forms to report my retirement income?

I am 84 years old and live off of Social Security and Railroad Retirement for my medicare. I need to file a 1040-SR form. Do you help in preparing them?

When you enter information into this software you are preparing a Form 1040.   Form 1040 is the federal tax return form that goes to the IRS.   Since you are 65 or older, when you print your return it will print on Form 1040SR.  Form 1040 and 1040SR are identical in every way except that 1040SR has bigger print.

To enter your retirement income:

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099 and/or 1099RRB.

Yes, you can use TurboTax to report your SSA-1099 and RRB-1099 income. Since you are over 65 years old TurboTax will automatically use Form 1040-SR.

Since you got Form RRB-1099 you probably also got a Form RRB-1099-R. Those are two separate forms on one piece of paper. The RRB-1099 is blue and the RRB-1099-R is green. The two forms have to be entered separately in different places in TurboTax.
