My income is 95,000 and in beginning of year I invested only 700 in 401k; however changed employment. How do I benefit from investing 5,550 in IRA?
Turbo Tax is not allowing me to benefit from IRA investment since employer at the beginning of year had a 401k program. The 401k has been rolled over to a IRA.

If you were covered by an employer plan for Any part of the year, rule is the same: You made too much for a deductible IRA contribution if filing single.
